June singing and saying "Happy Mother's Day"
June's vocabulary has exploded! It's all over the house and it's hard to clean up. And she's saying things that are surprising to us...not the least of which is the lyrics for many of the songs we've sung to her over the last 21 months!
So, here she is singing along with "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and saying, "Happy Mother's Day".

June opening her Easter gift basket from Donna. Donna warned us that it might be a little obscene (in terms of the amount of stuff)!
She's a MANIAC!
My cousin Craig got married on 3/31 and June took the opporunity to show her moves on the dance floor! She danced all night long...well, until she slipped and slammed her head into a chair. That slowed her down for about a minute...but she got back out there.
In the video, she spends some time twirling with cousin Eliana from Colorado and the checks the floor connectors to make sure the dance floor is safe. Route 66 comes and and June begins to show off her moves. After a few moments of groovin, she makes her way to the cupcake table...
Expanding Boundaries of Toddlerhood
Earlier this week, we rejoiced in a simple thing: June was happily playing by herself outside on her slide while we were inside making food. So fun to watch her expore beyond her 'indoor' world!
June decided the she wanted to make a meal using a blue bowl and the ingredients from the spice drawer. One of the phrases that June has begun to say with regularity is "there it is" in response to seeing or finding something. She says it a couple times in the second half of this video.
